My name is Michael Di Monte and I am a communications student who specializes in music and audio production. I love songwriting and I'm obsessed with the creative process. I hope to build a career in the music industry!

Research

My research project explores the experiences of the modern independent musician and the ways they use digital technology to produce, distribute and market music independently. My research highlights the changing role of music-makers, diving into their creative processes, distribution practices and monetization methods.
