My name is Zara, and I am a fourth-year Communications student. I have been actively pursuing opportunities in fashion for several years, which has allowed me to develop a strong appreciation for creativity, branding, and visual storytelling. One of my primary interests is content creation, particularly within the beauty, lifestyle, and fashion spaces. Alongside these passions, I am also deeply interested in artificial intelligence and its growing influence on society. I am especially curious about how AI is shaping the way we think, create, and communicate in an increasingly digital world.

This research examines how undergraduate students in the Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University publicly describe the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on their creative ideation, originality, and authorship. Using qualitative analysis of social media discourse, the project explores how students frame AI as a tool, collaborator, or challenge within their creative process. The goal is to understand how creativity and authorship are being socially renegotiated in the age of AI, contributing to broader conversations in communication studies about technological change and creative identity.
