How Financial Technology Adoption is Causing Divide Among the Public

I’m a fourth year undergrad in the Professional Communications Program, also working in the film and marketing sector outside of university. I’ve had a passion of understanding different industries and how technological innovations intersect and affect other industries in society such as the FinTech industry.

After following the FinTech environment for multiple years, I aimed at understanding the current societal divide among institutions versus the general public on the rapidly expanding industry. Qualitative research into both groups revealed a significant divide and differing ideologies regarding the future of FinTech and how it will shape globalization. I’m excited to showcase my current findings and oversight into how FinTech is being perceived at this current time.
