Research

Research

The Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown measures it has necessitated have impacted daily life in many ways. This research aims to determine if sleep is one such impacted area. Sleep is thought to be linked to a person’s well-being, including their mental health. There has also been a rise in mental health concerns. This rise has contributed to strain on the medical system overall. Thus, the second aim of research to see if impacted sleep may contribute to the recent rise in mental health concerns. Additionally, this type of research has been done in other countries so it is pertinent to bring it to Canada.
