A bold graphic illustration featuring a central white abstract symbol, composed of multiple concentric and undulating lines, evocative of a fingerprint swirl or radiating sound waves. This symbol is set against a bright fuchsia background. The entire composition is framed by a thin white rectangular outline, and complemented by layered, organic wavy shapes in varying darker shades of purple and magenta in the upper left and lower right corners, creating a dynamic and modern aesthetic.

Research

A research study conducted to analyze the effectiveness of mental health awareness campaigns/events in relation to post-secondary schools.

An infographic by Xavier Nash titled 'How Effective Are: Mental Health Campaigns?' The 'Awareness' section, represented by a brain graphic, shows 59% of participants were aware of an event, 67% did not attend, 56% were made aware via social media, and 30% were aware but couldn't attend. The 'Participant Statements' section includes two quotes: 'I am a resident adviser and am required to create an event for Health and Wellness, so I chose self-care.' and 'Organizing low-energy activities weekly to foster an enviornment of low-stakes conversation and community through the activities.' The 'Campaign Event Trends' horizontal bar chart shows how events were implemented: social media (74.1%), posters (63%), in person/on campus (63%), guest speakers (48.1%), fundraisers (18.5%), and other (11.1%). The 'School Involvement Effectiveness' horizontal bar chart shows the distribution of effectiveness ratings from 1 to 5: 22.2% rated 5 (highest), 29.6% rated 4, 25.9% rated 3, 11.1% rated 2, and 11.1% rated 1 (lowest).
