Bio

I’m Khiara, a fourth-year student at Toronto Metropolitan University majoring in Professional Communication with a minor in Marketing. Video creation and editing have always been a passion of mine, so it has been a wonderful experience seeing my vision come to life. I have enjoyed blending creativity and academia throughout this research project and I am excited to take the skills I have learned at TMU, develop them further in the future and I hope you can see some of those skills in this project!

Research Summary

In my research, I explored the domain of information technology and data protection, specifically examining the legal and ethical considerations associated with data collection through the application of first and third-party cookie web browsers. This project is to teach users about safeguarding their privacy and to be aware of the information they allow websites to gain from them online.
