Research Summary

My research project focuses on analyzing the online dating industry, specifically Bumble, a mobile application that empowers women by allowing them to initiate conversations. To conduct this study, I used a combination of discourse analysis, secondary research, and qualitative data analysis. Through these methods, I explored and examined various aspects of the online dating industry, including algorithms, features, advantages, and disadvantages. By evaluating these elements, my research sheds light on the online dating industry’s current state and potential future.
