Biography

Hi! I’m Erika 🙂 I’m in the final year of my BA, studying Professional Communication in the Creative School at TMU! As one of the millions who experienced multiple years of Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my capstone project is dedicated to understanding the long-lasting effects on students’ academic performance.

Research Summary

My research so far has taken me through dozens of large-scale studies across several countries. The majority of the results showed significant differences in stress levels, life satisfaction, and communication skills. As I collected and combined my inductive research into these categories– the theme of perceived success became apparent.
