Details of Project

This research investigates the correlation between remote work and the lack of networking opportunities and social capabilities among young professionals. The key areas of research will draw on categories of how remote work affects communication, networking opportunities among colleagues and industry leaders, mental health impacts, and broken boundaries between work-life balance. The results indicate that when young professionals have to work in non-traditional working environments, their social outlets are limited with colleagues and superiors, job visibility and advancement are decreased, anxiety and depression are increased, and the lack of separation from home and work life domains have caused individuals to withdraw from their job and company.
