My name is Sofia Kourakos and I am a 4th year Professional Communication student with a minor in Events and Live Entertainment. My career goal is to become an established event planner. Last semester, I took a Hospitality and Tourism course that opened my eyes to the evolving world of sustainability.

Research Summary

The events industry is infamous for their contributions to waste and pollution production. This study aims to accomplish the understanding of the mindset shifts in present and future event planners and their ideas and opinions on the implementation of sustainable solutions.
