This research project looks at the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic had on the body image of university students, through social media. The research looked at associations between different aspects of body image, such as appearance and comparisons. Through extensive research, it was found that COVID-19 did have an impact on body image. The main factors of this impact were changes in daily lifestyle, eating habits, and an overall more sedentary lifestyle leading to more time spent online.
