Research Communications: Employee Ethics

Elina Madorsky

Biography

Hi, I’m Elina. I’m a fourth-year senior student majoring in Professional Communications and minoring in Public Relations. I have interned as a Writing and Editorial Intern at We Write Stories, a book publishing company, where I developed internal and external communications by independently writing publishing guidelines, emails, and newsletters while supporting the content team. As an Assistant Producer of Ryerson’s Communication and Design Society, I interviewed and documented campus student groups through digital advertisements across social networks. Additionally, as a Speaker’s Associate for the Ryerson Entertertainment Conference, I have developed industry partnerships with companies such as Bell Media, Entertainment Tonight, and Wattpad. I aspire to keep using my writing and communication skills in future career paths.

Research Summary

My research is centered around employee ethics, specifically moral dilemmas in the workplace. I have carried out focus groups and surveys with both university students and working professionals who have experience in corporate work environments, to find both qualitative and quantitative data. All the findings are available on my research site, alongside my hypothesis, methodologies, and conclusions.
