A close-up portrait of a fair-skinned young woman with shoulder-length blonde hair and light blue eyes, looking towards the viewer with a subtle smile. She is wearing a light blue and white striped collared shirt against a plain white background.

Hi! I'm Lucy, and I am in my fourth year of Professional Communication. I currently work as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of an award-winning answering service company. I also manage and create a lot of the communications pieces, and I enjoy copywriting and copyediting in particular. I am driven professionally and personally by helping others and continuously learning new things.

Research

My project applied the concept of resilience engineering to crisis communication and social media. I looked at how the top five most reputable companies globally used different structures to create, sustain and manage resilience in today's digital landscape.

A blue infographic with the title 'THE ECOSYSTEM OF RESILIENCE ENGINEERING' in black text. At its core is an abstract white network diagram, represented as a sphere of interconnected nodes and lines. Five white text labels are positioned around this central network: 'SOCIAL CAPITAL' (top left), 'STAKEHOLDERS' (bottom left), 'CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPOSIBILITY' (bottom center), 'PLATFORMS & CHANNELS' (bottom right), and 'ORGANIZATIONS' (top right). The entire blue background is filled with scattered, overlapping white outline icons depicting various concepts such as phones, padlocks, shopping carts, email envelopes, user profiles, batteries, houses, music notes, globes, checkmarks, 'X' symbols, power buttons, folders, and smartphones.
