Biography
Hey everyone, I’m Tanishka Bawa, I’m 22 years old, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Professional Communications and a minor in Public Relations. Professionally, I work in fashion retail and as a communications coordinator at the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) at TMU. My retail experience has guided me in styling, merchandising, and customer relationship management. Whereas, at WUSC, I enjoy marketing, branding and engagement in managing social media strategies and campus event promotions.
As a freelance model, I collaborated with makeup and couture brands, directed editorial shoots, and participated in TV advertisements. Outside of work, I love travelling, shopping, and discovering new cultures, which inspires my creative vision. Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a deep passion for fashion, photography, content creation, and storytelling.

Using a qualitative research methodology, it employs semi-structured interviews and observational methods to examine both stated perceptions and real-world behaviors.
