The Role of Self-Fulfilling Prophecy in C-PTSD: How Beliefs Influence Symptoms and Recovery

Biography

A young Black woman with dark skin and long, straight black hair parted down the middle looks directly at the camera with a bright, open-mouthed smile, showing white teeth and glossy lips. She wears a dark brown long-sleeved top with a square neckline, revealing a hint of a black bra strap on her right shoulder. The background is a clean white, and the lighting is soft and even.

Have you ever considered the ways your beliefs and thoughts manifest your reality?

Well, look no further! I break down the persistent thought patterns that shape your reality, providing a clear understanding of how your mindset influences your experiences and the world around you.

‘Self-fulfilling prophecy’ asserts that our negative experiences are caused by our negative beliefs and thought patterns. These difficult experiences affect the way people interact with the world, especially when they are on the quest to actualize personal dreams. In my research, I utilize ‘Reddit’ as my main form data to argue that healing from trauma is achievable despite the severity of it.
