Imagining an Interoperable Internet: Exploring Channels Between Walled Gardens

This research project looks at how personal data is stored on the internet. Specifically, it examines how the interoperability of personal data can be developed to improve user experiences across a range of applications. Putting people first, this vision of an interoperable internet sees users as owners of their personal data and provides them with the autonomy to share at their discretion. The research focuses on emerging technologies and trend analysis. The result is a demonstration of what greater interoperability between existing digital platforms could look like.
