Research Summary

My research focuses on an issue I care deeply about, and a focus area that deeply interests me: reproductive healthcare/rights, and narrative television. By analyzing the way that the subject of abortion is discussed on teen TV programs through intensive coding, I am able to draw conclusions about realism on television, and whether the American public opinion on reproductive rights is being accurately reflected.
