Biography

Hello! I’m George and I am a fourth year student majoring in Professional Communication. I’m also currently a public relations intern at a Silicon Valley tech startup that focuses on data privacy and ownership. I’ve worked in the Web 3.0 industry and have been to numerous tech conferences and events. As an aspiring publicist with a focus on tech, my research revolves around the intersection between decentralized technology and professional communication.

Research Summary

My research project seeks to understand how professional communication (public relations, marketing, and advertising) will change with the adoption of decentralized technology. Data collected from in-person interviews, news articles, and social media posts to how the industry will shift and how communication practitioners can adapt to the evolving web landscape.
