Michelle D’Souza

My name is Michelle D’Souza and I’m a fourth-year Profesional Communication student at Ryerson University. This is my capstone project in which I investigate the Bruce McArthur case from a crisis communication perspective.

Research

This research project is a case study that looks at the Bruce McArthur case from a crisis communication perspective.

A poster with a blue overlay featuring a collage of blurred male faces in the background. The title 'Communicating Crisis' is in large white text at the top, followed by 'BRUCE MCARTHUR CASE STUDY'. Two light blue rectangular text boxes contain questions: the first, with 'How' as a header, asks 'did the Toronto Police Service handle the Bruce McArthur case from a crisis communication perspective?'; the second, with 'What' as a header, asks 'were the crisis communication techniques used during the investigation?'. A circular Toronto Police Service emblem, in blue, gold, and red, is partially visible in the bottom left corner.
