Emma Fraser

My name is Emma Fraser. I am a 4th-year Professional Communications student at Ryerson University.

I am currently a varsity athlete with the Ryerson Women's Basketball team and have been fortunate enough to be on a full athletic scholarship as well as an academic scholarship.

I've been accepted into The London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK, where I plan on studying Gender, Policy, and Inequalities with a focus on Feminist Legal Theory concerning Environmental Law and Policy.

Research

My research topic is on the Coaching Wage Gap in NCAA Basketball between female and male head coaches. I have taken a look at whether or not this wage gap is because of gender or if the revenue brought in by each team influences the salaries of the coaches.
