A professional-style headshot of a fair-skinned young woman with long, straight reddish-brown hair and bright blue eyes, looking directly at the camera with a subtle smile. She is wearing a black blazer over a dark top, against a plain off-white wall.

I am completing my final year of my Professional Communications degree at Ryerson Unversity. My undergraduate degree has cemented my interest in the formation of human-centric communication and accessible communication practices. Throughout my studies, I have focused strongly on topics of scientific literacy and knowledge translation. My experience in the creation and output of a variety of communication materials can be seen in application throughout this research project.

Research

The goal of this research is to determine factors that influence consumers on a personal and individual level to consume these dairy-alternative products, as our new social landscape is altering food consumption patterns, especially concerning the dairy industry.

The image features the title 'CONSUMER MOTIVATIONS IN THE DAIRY-ALTERNATIVE INDUSTRY' in gray capital letters. Below, a cluster of six grayscale circular images depicts: a pile of almonds, halved coconuts, wheat stalks, a black and white cow in a field, soybeans, and rice grains, representing ingredients for dairy and dairy-alternative products.
