Research Summary

In 2020, everybody’s worlds were turned upside down due to the abrupt hit of the COVID-19 pandemic. Students across the globe had to quickly adapt to remote learning. Fast forward 4 years, and while students are mostly back in person, many economic hardships have developed, such as the high cost of living expenses. When looking for articles relating to students in Canada’s experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, search engine results on Google Scholar had little results compared to students in America’s experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research project takes a deep dive into the importance of more academic research needing to be done regarding students in Canada’s experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
