Research Summary

My research focused on analysing the entertainment industry to understand if your content reflected accuracy, representing professional workplace attire. I then compared it to recruitment materials, candid Tik Tok content as well as my own observations walking through the PATH downtown Toronto everyday. This poster is a creative representation of my findings. It’s made up of images from characters in movies and tv shows as well as real people from my life as well as Tik Tok. The purpose of this piece is to encourage the audience to compare and contrast the various types of professional outfits, challenging them to identify fiction from reality. Does the media really portray professional workplace attire accurately?
